Erudition is a gesture in Elden Ring.
Erudition is a gesture of scholarly learning. It comes from Thops, a former student of the Academy of Raya Lucaria. He gives it in thanks for a way back into the academy.
Use
Performing it in front of the statue in the Converted Tower opens the way to the top. In the Converted Fringe Tower it only works while wearing a Glintstone Crown, and it unlocks the Gavel of Haima and Cannon of Haima.
How to Get Erudition Guide
- Meet Thops at the Church of Irith.
- Find a second Academy Glintstone Key in the rafters above the Church of the Cuckoo in the Academy of Raya Lucaria.
- Give the key to Thops to receive the gesture.

- The Haima and Hierodas Glintstone Crowns do not work for the Converted Fringe Tower.
