The Gavel of Haima is a Glintstone sorcery in Elden Ring. It becomes available in the middle of a run.
Gavel of Haima is a glintstone sorcery of the Academy of Raya Lucaria, drawn from the scholarly conspectus of Haima, the academy's adjudicator, who used might as a means to quell conflict. It conjures a huge magic greathammer and slams it down, damaging the target with the head and sending out a shockwave that flattens small enemies and staggers some larger ones. The cast has hyper armor, so it is well suited to trading hits, and it allows one follow-up slam before a short cooldown. Casters dual-wielding staves can sidestep that cooldown by alternating hands, chaining slams one after another. It suits warrior wizard builds that want heavy close-range magic damage.
Effect
Creates a magic greathammer and slams it down, sending out a shockwave that flattens enemies; one follow-up slam is allowed. Each cast costs 22 FP and 38 stamina and takes up one memory slot.
How to Get Gavel of Haima Guide
Gavel of Haima lies in a chest at the top of the Converted Fringe Tower in northeast Liurnia of the Lakes, together with the Cannon of Haima. The way up opens only when the Erudition gesture is performed in front of the statue while wearing a glintstone crown.
- Obtain the Erudition gesture from Sorcerer Thops.
- Equip a glintstone crown headpiece.
- Travel to the Converted Fringe Tower in northeast Liurnia of the Lakes.
- Perform the Erudition gesture in front of the statue of Marika inside the tower.
- Climb the ladder that appears to the top of the tower.
- Open the chest to collect Gavel of Haima and the Cannon of Haima.
