Enchantment
The amulet works only for a Vampire Lord. It makes the bats from the Vampire Lord powers drain life from nearby enemies.

- Travel to the dungeon marked in the journal.
- Find the amulet there.
- Return to Feran Sadri.

How It Plays
The Amulet of Bats is one of the two Amulets of Night Power, made for a Vampire Lord. The game text says that while it is worn, bats drain life from any nearby enemies. The amulet works while the wearer is in Vampire Lord form, so it belongs around the neck before the transformation starts.
With the amulet, the bats also drain life from the enemies around the Vampire Lord.
Compared with the Gargoyle Amulet
The Amulet of the Gargoyle is its sister amulet. That one makes Summon Gargoyle call an additional Gargoyle for 30 seconds. A Vampire Lord who fights close in, flying through enemies as bats, gains more from the Amulet of Bats. One who prefers to let summons do the fighting gains more from the Gargoyle amulet.
Quest Background
The amulet is a reward from Amulets of Night Power, a radiant quest from Feran Sadri in Castle Volkihar. The quest is open to a vampire who joined the Volkihar Clan at the end of Bloodline and finished The Bloodstone Chalice. The Summon Gargoyle perk from the Vampire Lord perk tree is also needed.
Feran speaks of two amulets that strengthen a Vampire Lord's powers. He marks two random places on the map, one for each amulet. The amulet sits with a boss or in the chest at the end of the dungeon. Feran rewards the return of both amulets with Potions of Blood.
