Bloodthirst is an artifact sword from the Dawnfang and Duskfang Creation, with 14 base damage. It lies in an unlocked chest in the final room of Broken Fang Cave. Its quest begins with Verrick's Note, found in the Guardian Vault during A Soul Divided.
Weapon Enchantment
Each hit absorbs 15 points of Health and leaves the target bleeding for extra damage. The sword also swings 7% faster than a normal sword.

Bloodthirst lies in a chest in the final room of Broken Fang Cave. Its quest begins with Verrick's Note in the Guardian Vault.
- Read Verrick's Note in the Guardian Vault.
- Go to Faldar's Tooth and read the Cage Bandit's Note.
- Travel to Broken Fang Cave.
- Defeat the cave's occupants.
- Open the chest in the final room and take Bloodthirst.

Weapon Levels
Some weapons in Skyrim are Levelled. The power of a levelled weapon is based on your charcters level when you get them. Some get stronger in both physical and magical aspects, while others only improve their enchantments. These items don't get better as your character levels up.
Bloodthirst has the same damage at every character level.
