Lore

---

Brewess is said to be a master at brewing magic mixtures. The darker legends claim she knows over a dozen recipes for human soup.

Story

---

Ciri passed through Crookback Bog before Geralt came to Velen. She quarrelled with the Crones there and was lucky to escape them alive. Geralt follows her trail into the swamp. The Crones agree to tell him what they know of Ciri, but only after he does a task for them.

The Crones later hold a sabbath on Bald Mountain. There it turns out the legends were true. The sisters really do eat human flesh. They cook their victims in hellish pots, spiced with root from the cursed tree on Bald Mountain. Ciri goes after the Crones at the sabbath. Brewess shares the fate of Whispess and dies by Ciri's blade.

Relationships

---

Brewess is the sister of Whispess and Weavess. She and Whispess die together on Bald Mountain, while Weavess escapes.
