Weavess is the youngest of the three Crones of Crookback Bog in Velen. The people of the swamp worship the three sisters as the Ladies of the Wood. The Crones first deal with Geralt in Crookback Bog during the quest Ladies of the Wood.
Lore
Weavess is the youngest of the three sisters, yet she is no less ugly or evil than the other two. Her sisters are Whispess and Brewess.
Weavess wove the magic tapestries of the Crones. She made them from human hair. Children from the villages nearby gave up their hair as tribute at "cutting" ceremonies. The worshipers of the Ladies of the Wood used these tapestries to reach their goddesses and pay them homage.
Story
Ciri passed through Crookback Bog before Geralt came to Velen. She quarrelled with the Crones there and was lucky to escape them alive. Geralt follows her trail into the swamp. The Crones agree to tell him what they know of Ciri, but only after he does a task for them.
The fight on Bald Mountain was meant to end all three Crones. Weavess escaped the fate of her sisters. She turned into a flock of ravens and flew away with Ciri's medallion. The medallion once belonged to Vesemir.
If Ciri does not return from her battle against the White Frost, Geralt goes back to Crookback Bog. He kills Weavess there and takes back the medallion.
Relationships
Weavess is the sister of Whispess and Brewess. Ciri killed her two sisters on Bald Mountain, while Weavess fled.
