Coronation is a secondary quest in Skellige that ends the long race for the throne. The jarls gather under the sacred oak to choose King Bran's successor. Clan leaders and common islanders crowd in to watch the new ruler crowned. Geralt is there among them.
Coronation Quest Guide
- Finish King's Gambit.
- Travel to the sacred oak where the jarls gather.
- Attend the coronation under the sacred oak.
- Watch the jarls crown the new ruler of Skellige.
- Talk to Crach, Cerys and Hjalmar at the coronation if Brothers In Arms: Skellige is under way.
Choices
The crown goes to Cerys an Craite or Hjalmar an Craite. Which one wins rests on the help Geralt gave them in the quests before.
If Cerys becomes queen, many islanders fear the troubled times will be too much for her. Others cheer, sure that her rule will one day bring peace to Skellige.
If Hjalmar becomes king, many grumble that storms and war with Nilfgaard lie ahead. Others are glad, because his wise father stands beside him as an advisor. All agree that the new king is a strong and fearless warrior.
