Cyprian Wiley

Cyprian Wiley
Type	Character
DLC	Base game
Also known as	Whoreson Junior

Cyprian Wiley, better known as Whoreson Junior, is one of the most dangerous criminals in Novigrad. He runs casinos, a fighting ring and brothels in the city. Geralt hunts for him during the quest Get Junior, since Junior knows what became of Ciri.

Lore

---

Cyprian Wiley the younger inherited his father's casinos, fighting ring and brothels. He also inherited the old man's cruelty, ruthlessness and lack of scruples. These traits made the name "Whoreson" a kind of family heirloom for the powerful criminal clan.

Cyprian shares his father's ambition too. He broke the unwritten truce between the city's criminal gangs. Then he tried to murder the other three leading underworld bosses. King Radovid stood behind the attempt. The king wanted Whoreson to start a gang war in Novigrad, so that Radovid could seize the city in the chaos.

Story

---

Before Geralt reaches Novigrad, Ciri and Dandelion strike a deal with Whoreson Junior. They promise him a treasure in return for his help. When the treasure fails to arrive, Junior kidnaps their friend Dudu and tortures him. In Ciri's Story: Visiting Junior, Ciri breaks into Junior's hideout through a window. She strikes him down and frees the doppler, then fights her way out.

In Get Junior, Geralt searches the city for Whoreson. His trail leads to a mansion in Oxenfurt. While searching the house, Geralt learns that "Whoreson" is too mild a name for this man. Junior takes pleasure in murdering captive women. Geralt beats the truth about Ciri and Dandelion out of him.

Geralt then decides Junior's fate. If he kills him, he makes Whoreson pay with his life for trying to harm Ciri. In Payback, Ciri and Geralt then find the doppler Dudu living in Junior's guise. If Geralt spares him, Junior loses everything once Radovid withdraws his protection and his old enemies are free to take revenge. In Payback, Geralt and Ciri find him in an alley in the Bits.

Relationships

---

King Radovid hires Junior and then drops him once he has served his purpose. Ciri, Dandelion and Dudu are his enemies after the failed deal.
