Don't Play with the Gods is a treasure hunt in Velen. It starts in elven ruins north of Byways, where wraiths haunt a few dead bodies. One body carries a letter from a thief named Edgar to his love, Elke. The pair stole silver from a temple and hid it in ruins said to be cursed by the elven gods. Neither of them came back for the treasure, so Geralt claims it.
Don't Play with the Gods Quest Guide
- Travel to the elven ruins north of the Byways signpost.
- Kill the wraiths.
- Kill the noonwraith, or the nightwraith after dark.
- Loot the body leaning against the stairs for the letter and the key.
- Read the unsent letter.
- Follow Witcher Senses up the stairs.
- Open the chest beside the fallen statue to finish the hunt.
