How to Get Eirlithrad
- Magic (crafted): Buy the diagram from blacksmiths in Novigrad, Oxenfurt and Skellige. It is also a reward for the secondary quest Following the Thread in Novigrad.
- Common, Master and Magic: Buy it from the same blacksmiths, or find it as random loot. Honor Among Thieves in Novigrad also gives one copy.
Eirlithrad Map Location and Quest Guide
The pin marks Following the Thread, a secondary quest that starts from the Contract: Monster in the Bits notice on the Hierarch Square notice board in Novigrad. The quest rewards Geralt with the Eirlithrad diagram once Lambert's hunt for Jad Karadin ends.
- Take the Contract: Monster in the Bits notice from the Hierarch Square notice board and talk to the supervisor.
- Examine the crime scene and follow the claw marks to the river. Swim across and follow the tracks to a building.
- Help Lambert finish off the ekimmara inside.
- Go with Lambert to collect the reward and kill the guards who attack.
- Meet Lambert at the Seven Cats Inn and question Vienne about Jad Karadin.
- Travel to Faroe in Skellige and speak to the pirates at the entrance of Trottheim.
- Find Hammond at the shrine near the eastern end of Faroe. Kill him and his men, then take Jad Karadin's letter from his body.
- Meet Lambert at The Nowhere Inn in Novigrad.
- Visit Jad Karadin at his home with Lambert and decide his fate to end the quest.
