Graden

Graden
Type	Character
Affiliation	Witch hunter
DLC	Base game

Graden is a witch hunter in the service of King Radovid. He leads a band of hunters in Oxenfurt, and Tamara Strenger has joined them. Geralt meets him during the quest Family Matters.

Lore

---

Graden is not a typical witch hunter. Unlike many of his comrades, he is level-headed and free of prejudice, at least toward witchers. He cares more about results than about the hunters' code. He surely knows that this approach will not win him favor with his superiors.

Story

---

In Family Matters, Geralt finds Tamara in Oxenfurt among the witch hunters. Graden breaks into their talk, and then he and Tamara leave together.

In Return to Crookback Bog, the Bloody Baron and Geralt go into the swamp to free Anna. There they meet Tamara and Graden's band, who have come looking for her too. The witcher and the hunters fight the swamp's monsters side by side. When the affair in the swamp is over, Graden returns to Oxenfurt and takes Tamara with him.

Relationships

---

Tamara Strenger is Graden's recruit, and he takes her under his wing. King Radovid is the ruler he serves.
