Legendary Viper Steel Sword is the NG+ Legendary variant of the Viper Steel Sword from White Orchard. It deals 56.6-69.6 damage at level 3, with +15% chance to poison and +5% crit chance. It needs level 2 on top of the NG+ starting level.
Compared with the regular Viper Steel Sword, it adds +5% crit chance and has 2 rune slots instead of 1. It keeps +5% bonus experience from humans and nonhumans.

This sword and the Viper Silver Sword come from Scavenger Hunt: Viper School Gear in White Orchard. The Hearts of Stone Viper set is medium armor, with a single tier at level 39.
How to Get Legendary Viper Steel Sword
- In NG+, go to the Amavet Fortress Ruins in White Orchard.
- Take the diagram, found with an interrogation report.
- An amateur blacksmith crafts it.
Legendary Viper Steel Sword Map Location and Quest Guide
The pin marks the old watchtower in the bandit camp west of the Ransacked Village in White Orchard. The Legendary Viper Steel Sword diagram sits in a chest inside the ruined tower with an interrogation report. It replaces the standard diagram at this spot in New Game +, during Scavenger Hunt: Viper School Gear, and an amateur blacksmith crafts the sword from it.
- Start Scavenger Hunt: Viper School Gear in White Orchard by finding either of its two diagrams.
- Go to the bandit camp at the old watchtower west of the Ransacked Village.
- Climb onto the plateau, either up the side or by the pile of bricks around the base.
- Kill the deserters on top, taking care not to fall off.
- Loot the chest inside the ruined watchtower for the steel sword diagram and the interrogation report.
