Scavenger Hunt: Wolf School Gear is a treasure hunt in Kaer Morhen. It leads to the diagrams for the basic Wolf School gear. Finding any Wolven diagram starts the hunt. Along the way, Geralt learns the story of the witcher Varin and the mage Hieronymus. He also finds out how the first upgraded witcher gear was made.
Scavenger Hunt: Wolf School Gear Quest Guide
- Buy the slightly torn notes from the blacksmith in Lindenvale to mark the sites.
- Travel to the old signal tower south of the Kaer Morhen signpost.
- Find the chest at the tower and read Hieronymus' notes.
- Climb through the crack in the wall and along the outer scaffolding.
- Take the crystal from the ledge on the tower wall.
- Mount the crystal in the generator and charge it with Aard.
- Find the second crystal near the portal and charge it with Aard to steady the portal.
- Jump through the portal into the cave.
- Kill the wraith.
- Loot the skeleton near the cave exit for the armor diagrams, and read Hieronymus' last words.
- Travel to the Bastion and kill the wraiths.
- Take the steel sword diagram inside and read Varin's journal.
- Travel to the Ruined Watchtower north of Kaer Morhen and kill the wraith.
- Find the silver sword diagram in the ruins and read Chird's journal.
