The Bastion is a secondary quest at Kaer Morhen. It starts at an old observation tower on a hillside west of the keep. Wraiths have moved into the ruins. The ghost of a boy who once trained to be a witcher haunts the place.
The Bastion Map Location and Quest Guide
The Bastion map location:
- Walk to the old bastion west of Kaer Morhen.
- Kill the wraiths haunting the bastion.
- Explore the bastion with Witcher Senses.
- Use Keira's magic lamp to find the spots where it shows visions.
- Watch the four visions of the boy's training days.
- Climb the ladder on the eastern wall to reach the ruined tower.
- Use the lamp in the tower to see the last vision.
- Pick up the boy's remains.
- Kill the wraiths that appear.
- Bury the boy's remains at the marked spot.
