Wolven Steel Sword - Enhanced is the Enhanced tier of the Wolven (Wolf School) steel sword, witcher gear from the base game. It deals 191-233 damage at level 21. Its diagram is on the scaffolding above the doorway of the Ruined Watchtower in Kaer Morhen. It comes in the mid game.
It gives +6% sign intensity, +6% adrenaline gain and +6% bleeding chance, plus +5% bonus experience from humans and nonhumans. That mix suits a bleeding hybrid build. It has 2 rune slots.
As a Wolven piece it belongs to a set whose bonuses reward bleeding and adrenaline.
Set Bonus
The Wolven set is medium armor. It has five tiers: Basic at level 14, Enhanced at 21, Superior at 29, Mastercrafted at 34 and Grandmaster at 40. 3 pieces: each bleeding effect on an enemy raises sword damage by 1% per set piece. 6 pieces: each adrenaline point raises how many bleeding effects can stack on one enemy. These bonuses come from Grandmaster pieces worn as a set.

The pin marks the Ruined Watchtower in the Kaer Morhen valley. The Wolven Steel Sword - Enhanced diagram sits in a chest on the scaffolding above the doorway. It turns up during Scavenger Hunt: Wolf School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 2, and a journeyman blacksmith crafts the sword from it.
- Start Scavenger Hunt: Wolf School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 2 by finding any of its diagrams, or by buying the slightly torn notes from the blacksmith in Lindenvale.
- Travel to the Ruined Watchtower and kill the wraith if it appears.
- From the signpost, head up the slope on the left of the doorway.
- Turn and jump over to the scaffolding platform on the right.
- Loot the chest there for the steel sword diagram.

Notes
In NG+ the diagram makes Legendary Wolven Steel Sword - Enhanced instead. It needs level 21 plus the NG+ starting level, with a minimum of 46, deals 371.2-453.6 damage at level 46 and raises each of its main bonuses to 12%.
