Mean Streak

| Attribute | Reflexes |
| Tier | Pro (9) |
| Levels | 1 |
| Requires | Dash |
Mean Streak hands stamina back for a kill made during a dash. Dashing is what the Reflexes build spends its bar on, and this perk means a successful dash pays for the next one. It is part of the movement branch of that tree. Builds that chain dashes through a room keep the bar up with it.
Effect
The return is a large share of maximum stamina rather than a trickle, so one kill mid dash is most of a refund.
That turns movement into something sustainable. Without it a build runs out of bar halfway through a fight and has to walk. With it the fights that go well never slow down.
How to Unlock Mean Streak
It sits behind the Pro gate of the Reflexes tree and is bought from Dash.
Perk Tree
Mean Streak is bought from Dash in the Reflexes tree.
| Name | Image | Tier | Effect |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dash | Pro (9) | -20% Stamina cost for dodging and dashing. |
Character Builds
The build is a Reflexes build that chains dashes through a fight, which is the aggressive reading of the movement branch. An assault rifle or a submachine gun suits it, since a kill mid dash needs the trigger to be available.
Buy it at the Pro gate after Dash and Steady Grip, in that order. Without Steady Grip there is no way to make the kill the refund depends on. Tailwind at the Legend gate pays for air dashes instead, so a build deep in the branch is refunded for almost every move.
Notes
Tailwind at the top of the tree returns stamina for air dashes and double jumps instead, so the two cover different moves.
Steady Grip allows shooting during a dash, which is how the kill this perk needs usually happens.
