Clothing

Clothing in Cyberpunk 2077 is what V wears, and it is purely a matter of style. Garments carry no armour and no stats, so a jacket is chosen because of how it looks rather than because of what it does. Protection comes from cyberware instead. That leaves the wardrobe free to say who V is.

Slots

V wears clothing in separate slots: head, face, outer torso, inner torso, legs and feet. One more kind of garment, the outfit, covers the whole body at once and replaces everything in the other slots while it is worn.

The categories on this wiki follow those slots. Headwear covers hats, caps and helmets. Facewear covers glasses, masks and visors. Outerwear covers jackets, coats and vests, and Tops covers the shirts and tank tops underneath. Legwear and Footwear cover the rest, and Outfits holds the full body suits.

Everyday Clothing and Variations

Most clothing comes from clothing vendors and from loot. The game builds much of it from one model in several colours, and each colour carries its own name. Those colour variations share a single page on this wiki, with every variation listed in a table and described below it.

Unique Clothing

A smaller number of garments are unique. They are placed in the world on particular bodies or in particular caches, handed over in jobs, or given as rewards. Each of them has a page of its own with its location and the job it belongs to. Johnny Silverhand's pieces stand above the rest as the Iconic clothing.

Clothing Sets

The role sets dress V as one of the classic roles of the Cyberpunk world: the cop, the corporate, the fixer, the media, the netrunner, the nomad, the rockerboy, the solo and the techie. Every piece of every set is unique and lies somewhere in Night City or the Badlands.

Notes

Because clothing has no stats, a whole outfit can be saved and swapped with the wardrobe at V's apartment without giving anything up.
