Steady Grip

| Attribute | Reflexes |
| Tier | Pro (9) |
| Levels | 1 |
| Requires | Dash |
Steady Grip lets V shoot while dashing. Without it the dash is a move and nothing else, which means every reposition is a pause in the shooting. It is part of the movement branch of the Reflexes tree. Gun builds in this tree treat it as necessary rather than optional.
Effect
The dash is the fastest and best protected thing V does. Being able to fire through it means the safest moment in the fight is also a moment of damage.
It also makes the other dash perks pay. A kill during a dash returns stamina, and that kill has to come from somewhere, so the perk that allows the trigger is what makes the rest of the line work.
How to Unlock Steady Grip
It sits behind the Pro gate of the Reflexes tree and is bought from Dash.
Perk Tree
Steady Grip is bought from Dash in the Reflexes tree.
| Name | Image | Tier | Effect |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dash | Pro (9) | -20% Stamina cost for dodging and dashing. |
Character Builds
It belongs to every gun carrying Reflexes build, and it is bought early rather than late because the rest of the dash line depends on it.
Buy it at the Pro gate immediately after Dash. Mean Streak then has kills to read, and Multitasker below already covers sprinting and sliding, so between them there is no movement left that stops the trigger.
Notes
Mean Streak returns stamina for a kill made during a dash, and this is the perk that makes such a kill possible.
Multitasker lower in the tree does the same for sprinting, sliding and vaulting.
