Spice Of Life rewards V for changing weapons mid fight. The swap itself is faster, and the gun comes up with much tighter spread for a short moment afterwards. It is part of the automatic weapon branch of the Reflexes tree. Builds carrying two automatics rather than one get the most from it.
Effect
A weapon swap is normally faster than a reload, which is why experienced players swap instead of reloading. This perk makes that trick better in both directions.
The tightened spread is the part that matters. The rounds fired right after a swap land where they are aimed, so the swap becomes a way to take an accurate shot rather than only a way to keep firing.
How to Unlock Spice Of Life
It sits behind the Pro gate of the Reflexes tree and is bought from Ready, Rested, Reloaded.
Perk Tree
Spice Of Life is bought from Ready, Rested, Reloaded in the Reflexes tree.
| Name | Image | Tier | Effect |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ready, Rested, Reloaded | Pro (9) | -10% Stamina cost for shooting AR and SMGs. |
Character Builds
It belongs to a Reflexes build carrying two automatic weapons rather than one, which is how the branch avoids reloading at all.
Buy it at the Pro gate from Ready, Rested, Reloaded. Submachine Fun at the Legend gate takes the same idea much further for submachine guns specifically, so a build that likes this perk should plan for that one. The tightened spread after a swap is best spent firing from the hip.
Notes
Submachine Fun at the top of the tree reloads a submachine gun automatically on the swap and raises its fire rate, which is the same idea taken much further.
Spread is what hip fire depends on, so the window after a swap is best spent shooting from the hip.
