Darkening Storm in Dragon's Dogma 2 is a bow with a picture of a dark beast on it. It's great for fighting griffins, because it knocks them down easily and deals extra damage. It is used by the Archer Vocation, but can not be purchased from merchants.

Each weapon and armor in Dragon's Dogma 2 can be upgraded 3 times. There are five possible smithing upgrade paths to choose from: Vermundian, Elven, Battahli, Dwarven and Wyrmfire each effecting the weapon or armor's stats differently.
