Weapon Enhancements
Upgrading weapons is an essential aspect of gameplay, and can be done at Blacksmiths. Each weapon can undergo general upgrades, typically up to three times, as indicated by a star symbol (a feature present in the first game). These enhancements typically require a combination of Gold and Materials harvested from slain Monsters roaming the open world.
Advanced Upgrades - Dragonforging
Dragonforging represents a special and powerful form of enhancement. This specialized process involves forging weapons using the Fiery Essence of Dragons and Wyrms, achieved by defeating multiple of these powerful creatures scattered throughout the game world.
Endgame Enhancements - Rarefying
Beyond Dragonforging lies the pinnacle of weapon enhancements known as Rarefying. This elite upgrade requires a Dragonforging upgraded weapon as well as rare endgame materials. The materials required for this process are exceedingly scarce and demand various farming efforts to obtain. Rarefying poses a significant challenge to players, as it's the ultimate goal for weapon enhancement.
