The Armor of Solitude (Altered) is a piece of chest armor in Elden Ring.
The Armor of Solitude (Altered) is the altered form of the steel chest armor of the Knights of the Solitary Gaol, part of a heavy set that covers the whole body in overlapping plates. Altering the original at any Site of Grace removes its black cloak, leaving the bare steel plates of the Blackgaol Knight's armor. The change trims a little weight while keeping almost all of the high physical defense and very high poise. It suits heavy strength builds that want the Solitude armor without the cape, or a cleaner plate look to pair with other helms.
Stats
It offers 43 poise for 23.2 weight.
Altering
Its unaltered form, Armor of Solitude, weighs 24 instead of 23.2 and carries 45 poise instead of 43. Altering works at any Site of Grace.
