The Armor of Solitude is a piece of chest armor in Elden Ring. It belongs to Shadow of the Erdtree and waits in Gravesite Plain.

The Armor of Solitude is the steel chest armor of the Knights of the Solitary Gaol, a heavy set of overlapping plates finished with a black cloak, and it drops from the Blackgaol Knight in the Western Nameless Mausoleum. It carries the brooding look of the knight who guards the mausoleum, and it can be altered to remove the cape. As one of the heaviest chest pieces it offers high physical defense and very high poise. It suits heavy strength builds that want to stay unflinching while swinging large weapons and can afford its substantial weight.

Stats

It carries 45 poise at 24 weight.

The Armor of Solitude has the third-highest chest poise at 45 for 24.0 weight, but its real distinction is 99 focus, the best of any heavy chest and level with Azur's Glintstone Robe. That makes it the one plate that answers sleep and madness without dropping to a robe, alongside 18.7 physical, 14.5 fire and 13.8 holy negation. The altered version loses the cape for slightly less weight and poise.

Altering

Its altered form, Armor of Solitude (Altered), weighs 23.2 instead of 24 and carries 43 poise instead of 45. Altering works at any Site of Grace.

How to Get Armor of Solitude Guide

It is obtained upon defeating the Knight of the Solitary Gaol within in the Western Nameless Mausoleum, located west of the Scorched Ruins on the Gravesite Plain.

Notes

"Steel chest armor of the Knights of the Solitary Gaol. Part of a heavy armor set that covers the whole body in overlapping plates of steel, and bedecked with a black cloak. The nameless mausoleums of the realm of shadow are said to hold the spirits of warriors who lost their names, or their hearts."
