The Caterpillar Mask is a helm in Elden Ring. It is part of Shadow of the Erdtree, found in the Ancient Ruins of Rauh.
The Caterpillar Mask is a ritual implement of the greater potentates of Bonny Village, worn to ward off impurity, doubt and temptation during divine ritual, and it is the mask of the Hornsent who seeks vengeance in the realm of shadow. Built from countless solidified caterpillars, it gives a grotesque, unsettling face that matches the rest of the Hornsent's braided cord attire. It is a very light helm with little physical defense but very high focus. It suits faith and arcane builds that want the Hornsent look, and it drops from him wherever he is defeated, whether as an invader, in Shadow Keep or at Enir-Ilim.
