The Flame Fortification is an incantation in Elden Ring, from the Two Fingers school.

Flame Fortification is an incantation of the Two Fingers' faithful, warning the Tarnished that following their set path will make enemies of monks, sorcerers, ancient dragon knights and the scions of gold. For 90 seconds it cuts fire damage taken, by less against players, and it can be cast while moving. Fire damage is common throughout the Lands Between, especially from dragons, so it is a valuable buff before many tough fights, though its benefit shrinks as fire negation from other sources rises. Its low requirements put it within reach of most starting classes using the Two Fingers Heirloom and a Finger Seal. It suits any player facing fire-breathing dragons or flame-heavy bosses.

Effect

Cuts fire damage taken by 35% (10% against players) for 90 seconds; it can be cast while moving. Each cast costs 20 FP and 13 stamina and takes up one memory slot.

"Incantation of the Two Fingers' faithful. Increases fire damage negation. This incantation can be cast while in motion. Follow the path that has been set for you, and you will make enemies of all others: the monks, the sorcerers, the ancient dragon knights, and the scions of gold. Heed me, the Lands Between offers no welcome to the Tarnished."
