Great Wyrm Theodorix is a great boss in Elden Ring.
Great Wyrm Theodorix is a colossal magma wyrm resting on a frozen river in the Consecrated Snowfield. Once an ancient troll warrior and a hero of the War against the Giants, it became a wyrm through Dragon Communion. It fights like the other magma wyrms, but it is far larger and tougher. Its three Dragon Hearts unlock Theodorix's Magma at the Cathedral of Dragon Communion.
Lore
Theodorix is a giant, four-legged wyrm with torn wings and a broad head. It swings a scaly, jaw-shaped greatsword and spews great floods of magma.
The name of the ancient troll warrior Theodorix lives on as a hero of the War against the Giants.
Those who perform Dragon Communion feel their humanity slip away until they are left as wyrms that crawl the earth.

Attacks
- Sword Swings: low sweeps of its scalesword; roll into the swing or jump over it.
- Scalesword Slam: it lifts the sword in both hands and slams it down over a wide area; roll forward and hit its head.
- Spinning Swipe: it looks back and spins with the sword; roll away or through it.
- Gliding Slam: it takes the sword in its mouth, glides and slams; run underneath it if close.
- Magma Breath: a flood of lava that lingers on the ground; move behind it.
- Lava Charge: it charges forward drooling lava; roll aside and wait for the lava to fade.
Tactics
- Wear fire protection to survive its magma.
- Attack from behind, where only its spinning swipe reaches.
- Use standard, strike or pierce damage, which it resists least.
- Lure the Giant Land Octopuses nearby into the fight; they attack Theodorix too.
- Snipe it from the ledge on the south side of the arena behind its resting spot.
