Night's Cavalry Armor (Altered) is a piece of chest armor in Elden Ring. It belongs to the Night's Cavalry Set. It only turns up late in a run, in the Consecrated Snowfield.

Night's Cavalry Armor (Altered) is the Night's Cavalry plate with the cape and shawl removed, keeping the same description. Altering lowers the weight of the chest piece by about one unit while poise barely drops. It remains a medium weight piece balancing physical and magical defense. With the altered helm and the Bull-Goat's Talisman, the set reaches 51 poise, which suits melee builds chasing that breakpoint.

It carries 24 poise at 11.8 weight.

Altering

Its unaltered form, Night's Cavalry Armor, weighs 12.8 instead of 11.8 and carries 25 poise instead of 24. Altering works at any Site of Grace.

Notes

"Pitch-black armor thinly painted with dried blood. Worn by the Night's Cavalry who ride funeral steeds. The Night's Cavalry, who now wander the dim roads of night, were once led by the Fell Omen and were deliverers of death for great warriors, knights, and champions."
