The Specimen Storehouse is the great hall of shelves inside the Shadow Keep. It rises over many floors, each guarded by Fire Knights and shadow undead. Moving its shelves opens new paths, and the climb leads on toward Messmer's chamber. Sir Ansbach and Redmane Freyja meet the Tarnished here during their stories.
Lore
The storehouse holds specimens of ancient knowledge from before the Golden Order. Messmer's army seized it during the crusade and was ordered to burn it. The Fire Knights Hilde and Salza refused and saved the collection. Their defiance also spared the nearby Ancient Ruins of Rauh.
Guide
- Enter from the main plaza at the Storehouse, First Floor Site of Grace.
- Climb floor by floor past Fire Knights and shadow undead.
- Rest at the Storehouse, Seventh Floor Site of Grace.
- Turn the mechanism to move the specimen shelves and open new paths.
- Follow the new route deeper into the keep toward the Dark Chamber Entrance.
