The Steel Gauntlets are a pair of gauntlets in Elden Ring. Players can grab it early, in the Weeping Peninsula.
The Steel Gauntlets are the starting gauntlets of the Heavy Knight, a knight in bulky steel armor who mows through foes with an oversized scimitar. They share the thick, hulking steel look of the Steel Armor Set. For gauntlets they are heavy, with high physical defense and good poise. They suit strength builds working toward a poise threshold early on, and they are also sold by the Isolated Merchant on the Weeping Peninsula.
Stats
They carry 10 poise at 6.1 weight, tied for the most poise among the gauntlets and one of the most weight-efficient choices in the slot. No other piece in the slot has more physical negation.
