The Weeping Peninsula is a crescent of land at the southern tip of the Lands Between, south of Limgrave. Rain falls on it without end, as if the land were in mourning. Steep cliffs, ravines and poison swamps cover it. Castle Morne stands at its southern tip. Most runs visit the peninsula early, as a side trip from Limgrave.

Lore
Castle Morne was once the home of warriors who rose against Queen Marika. They made a last stand against Godfrey, First Elden Lord, and were defeated. A lone survivor reforged their swords into the Grafted Blade Greatsword. After the Shattering, Godrick the Grafted set Castellan Edgar over the castle. The Misbegotten who served there rose up against their cruel masters. Edgar's daughter Irina fled north toward Limgrave.
A Wandering Mausoleum still walks the plain of Tombsward in the west. Its bell mourns one of the soulless demigods. The Church of Pilgrimage on the northern tip is where Melina shares an echo of Marika.
Geography
The Bridge of Sacrifice in the north-east joins the peninsula to Limgrave. Soldiers and a ballista guard it. The Impaler's Catacombs lie in the eastern cliffs, and Oridys's Rise stands on a plateau farther south. The Demi-Human Forest Ruins hide in the northern woods near the Earthbore Cave.
A plateau in the middle of the peninsula holds a Minor Erdtree guarded by an Erdtree Avatar. The Church of Pilgrimage stands to the north of it. The Tombsward Catacombs and the Morne Tunnel lie nearby. West of the plateau stretches Tombsward, where the Fourth Church of Marika, the Weeping Evergaol and the Witchbane Ruins stand. The Isolated Merchant's Shack sits on the western coast. The Tower of Return rises in the south-west, and its trapped chest leads to Leyndell.
The main road runs south through the Ailing Village to the Castle Morne Rampart. Castle Morne itself crowns the southern tip.
Bosses
The Leonine Misbegotten guards Castle Morne. The Erdtree Avatar protects the Minor Erdtree, and the Ancient Hero of Zamor waits in the Weeping Evergaol. The Runebear, the Scaly Misbegotten, Miranda the Blighted Bloom, the Cemetery Shade, the Erdtree Burial Watchdog and the Demi-Human Queen are found in its dungeons and ruins. The Night's Cavalry rides its roads at night.
