The 10mm Pistol is the first Gun you will obtain in Fallout 4 since it can be picked up in Vault 111, coming after the security baton and is situated in the overseer's office. This pistol from before the war offers decent damage output. It also supports various modifications, highlighting its adaptability. The 10mm pistol is a relatively powerful weapon early on in the game. Unfortunately even though players are given a significant quantity of ammunition within Vault 111, finding ammo for it in the game's early stages tends to be scarce so its worth stocking up with ammo at the various vendors you meet.

How to get the 10mm Pistol
- In Vault 111, specifically within the overseer's office, you'll find one on the desk and another placed on a shelf beside the case that holds the legendary weapon, the Cryolator.
- Most weapon vendors, as well as general traders, typically have these for sale, allowing you to purchase them directly if exploring fails to yield the loot you're after.
- As you make your way from Vault 111 towards Sanctuary Hills, check the shower of the second house on your right. Here, and throughout Sanctuary, you're likely to come across more 10mm pistols and 10mm ammo as part of the random loot that scales with your level.
- At the Wicked Shipping Fleet Lockup, look for a skeleton inside the most southern building to find one.
- Inside Monsignor Plaza, there's a gun shop on the upper floor where you'll find one inside a locked display case.
- Hub 360 offers another opportunity, where you can find one in a DIA cache. This cache is reachable through a side alley, using a fire escape and navigating through debris from a collapsed building.
- One on the ground next to Hugo, in Hugo's Hole.
- In the Longneck Lukowski's Cannery sewer system.
