Plasma Weapons
Plasma Weapons are a type of Energy Weapon in Fallout 4. Plasma weapons represent cutting-edge technology, firing superheated plasma bolts fueled by microfusion cells, heavy energy cells, or plasma cartridges. Their primary mode of damage is thermal transfer, inflicting severe burns on soft targets and melting through hard surfaces. In extreme cases, plasma can disintegrate targets, separating soft tissues from hard ones or causing molecular destabilization, turning victims into a green fluid.
Among plasma weapons, the Plasma Gun stands out as a versatile choice for urban combat, adaptable as a pistol, sniper rifle, semi-auto rifle, assault rifle, shotgun, or flamethrower. Variants include the plasma pistol, plasma rifle, plasma scattergun, and plasma thrower. While capable of high damage output, exceeding 100 in both ballistic and energy damage, plasma cartridge ammunition is relatively scarce. Plasma guns are the lightest among ranged weapons in the game, closely followed by laser weaponry.
You can find the locations of all the Plasma weapons in Fallout 4 listed below.
