Storm Enchanter is the last of the three elemental perks in the Enchanting tree in Skyrim. It requires skill level 50 and Frost Enchanter, and it makes new shock enchantments twenty-five per cent stronger.
The Route To Extra Effect
This perk matters as much for where it leads as for what it does. It is one of the two prerequisites for Extra Effect, and the elemental route reaches it through Fire and Frost.
Shock damage drains magicka as well as health, at half the value, which makes it the natural choice against mages.
New Enchantments Only
As with the rest of the line, the bonus applies when the enchantment is made, and it covers clothing and jewellery despite the description naming only armour.
