Frost Enchanter is the middle perk of the elemental line in the Enchanting tree in Skyrim. It requires skill level 40 and Fire Enchanter, and it makes new frost enchantments twenty-five per cent stronger.

Why Frost Is Worth More

Frost is the only element that does two things at once. It drains stamina alongside health and slows the target by half for two seconds, which matters more against a charging opponent than the raw number suggests. The perk strengthens the damage; the slow is fixed and does not scale.

Stalhrim weapons from the Dragonborn add-on carry their own bonus to frost enchantments, and the two stack for the strongest frost setup available.

Like the rest of the elemental line, this affects enchantments made after the perk is taken, and it covers clothing and jewellery as well as armour.
