Enhanced Ursine Boots are the Enhanced tier of the Ursine (Bear School) boots, heavy witcher gear. They give 59 armor and +6% adrenaline point gain at level 25. Their diagram is in an unmarked cave southeast of Wild Shore on Ard Skellig. They arrive in the mid game.

They also give +3% piercing, +3% bludgeoning, +3% slashing and +2% monster resistance. The adrenaline gain suits an adrenaline build, and the Ursine set bonuses suit a Quen tank.

Set Bonus

The Ursine set is heavy armor. It has five tiers: Basic at level 20, Enhanced at 25, Superior at 30, Mastercrafted at 34 and Grandmaster at 40. The 3-piece and 6-piece bonuses come from Grandmaster pieces worn as a school set. 3 pieces: when a Quen shield breaks, a new one may be cast at no stamina cost, with a 5% chance per set piece worn. 6 pieces: damage dealt by abilities that involve Quen rises by 200%.

How to Get Enhanced Ursine Boots

  • Start Scavenger Hunt: Bear School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 1.
  • Go to the unmarked cave southeast of Wild Shore on Ard Skellig, near the Farting Trolls quest area, and take the diagram.
  • A journeyman armorer crafts them from Ursine Boots.

Enhanced Ursine Boots Map Location and Quest Guide

The Enhanced Ursine Boots diagram sits in a chest near a broken boat in a cave southeast of Wild Shore on Ard Skellig, where trolls live. The pin marks the diagram spot, a stop of Scavenger Hunt: Bear School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 1.

  1. Buy Ibrahim Savi's First Map from the armorer at Kaer Trolde. It starts Scavenger Hunt: Bear School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 1 and marks every diagram spot.
  2. Go to the cave southeast of Wild Shore.
  3. Kill the trolls inside. They attack on sight.
  4. Search the rubble and loot the chest near the broken boat for the Enhanced Ursine Boots diagram.

Notes

  • In NG+ the diagram makes Enhanced Legendary Ursine Boots instead. They need level 25 plus the NG+ starting level and give 61 armor at level 26 (+2 per level), with +12% adrenaline gain.
