Faithful Friend is a Relic steel sword from Blood and Wine. It deals 356.8-436 damage at level 44 and gives +95% crit damage. Its diagram is in a big chest southwest of Mont Crane Castle in Toussaint, after a knight errant in distress is saved. It is a late-game sword. In NG+ it needs level 44 plus the starting level.
It gives +28% Aard sign intensity, +95% crit damage, +12% crit chance, +15% poison chance and +5% XP from humans and nonhumans. The crit pair drives its damage. The Aard bonus lets it support a signs build, and the poison chance adds damage over time on hits.
It has 3 rune slots. These hold three runestones or one runeword, which fills all three slots of a sword.
How to Get Faithful Friend
- Save the Knight Errant in Distress southwest of Mont Crane Castle in Toussaint.
- Open the big chest next to the dead body there to get Diagram: Faithful Friend.
- A master blacksmith crafts the sword.
