Feline Steel Sword - Enhanced is the Enhanced tier of the Feline (Cat School) steel sword, a witcher gear item. It deals 205-251 damage at level 23 and has a 10% chance to cause bleeding. Its diagram is in the cave northeast of Reardon Manor in Velen. It arrives in the mid game.
The bleeding chance adds damage over time to its sword hits. It also gives +5% bonus experience from humans and nonhumans and has 2 rune slots.
As a Feline piece it belongs to a set whose bonuses reward fast attacks and rear attacks.
Set Bonus
The Feline set is light armor. It has five tiers: Basic at level 17, Enhanced at 23, Superior at 29, Mastercrafted at 34 and Grandmaster at 40. The 3-piece and 6-piece bonuses come from Grandmaster pieces worn as a school set. 3 pieces: a strong attack raises fast attack damage by 10% per set piece worn, for 5 seconds. 6 pieces: rear attacks deal 50% more damage and stun the target, at a cost of 1 adrenaline point.
How to Get Feline Steel Sword - Enhanced
- Go to the cave northeast of Reardon Manor, the cave from Fools' Gold.
- Open the chest on the left shortly after the entrance to take the diagram.
- A journeyman blacksmith crafts it from the basic Feline Steel Sword.
Feline Steel Sword - Enhanced Map Location and Quest Guide
The pin marks the cave just northeast of Reardon Manor, the same cave as in Fools' Gold. The Feline Steel Sword - Enhanced diagram sits in a chest on the left near the end of the cave. It turns up during Scavenger Hunt: Cat School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 2, and a journeyman blacksmith crafts the sword from it.
- Start Scavenger Hunt: Cat School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 2 by finding any of its diagrams, or by buying Adalbert Kermith's second map from the blacksmith in Blackbough.
- Go to the cave just northeast of Reardon Manor.
- Kill the bandits, or the bear, that guard the cave.
- Head toward the end of the cave, to the corner opposite the elven ruins.
- Loot the chest on the left for the steel sword diagram.

Notes
In NG+ the diagram makes Legendary Feline Steel Sword - Enhanced instead. It needs level 23 plus the NG+ starting level, deals 212.8-260 damage at level 24 (+7.2-8.8 per level), has 3 rune slots and raises the bleeding chance to 15%.
