Legendary Viper Armor is the NG+ variant of Viper Armor, a medium witcher gear item from Hearts of Stone. It gives 240 armor at level 40 and +50% poison resistance. Countess Mignole sells the diagram during Open Sesame! at the Borsodi Brothers' Auction House. It is late game at level 39 plus the NG+ starting level. The diagram is in Oxenfurt.
It also gives +30% piercing, +30% slashing, +28% monster and +40% elemental resistance. Its bonuses match the regular Viper Armor. Only the level and armor rise.
Set Bonus
The Viper set is medium armor with a single tier at level 39, plus an NG+ legendary variant. The four armor pieces carry the plain name "Viper", and the two Viper Venomous swords complete the school.
How to Get Legendary Viper Armor
- In NG+, play Open Sesame! and talk to Countess Mignole at the Borsodi Brothers' Auction House in Oxenfurt.
- Buy the armor diagram, along with the gauntlets, trousers and boots diagrams.
- Have an armorer craft it.
Legendary Viper Armor Map Location and Quest Guide
Countess Mignole sells the Legendary Viper Armor diagram at the Borsodi Brothers' Auction House in Oxenfurt, during Open Sesame!, a main quest of Hearts of Stone. The pin marks the auction house, and this visit is the only chance to buy the diagram. It is the New Game + counterpart of the Viper Armor diagram.
- Take on Open Sesame! when Olgierd von Everec asks Geralt to bring him Maximilian Borsodi's house.
- Go to the Borsodi Brothers' Auction House in Oxenfurt. Vimme Vivaldi brings Geralt in as his guest.
- Go up to the auction floor. Vivaldi offers to introduce Geralt to his friends.
- Agree to meet them and talk to Countess Mignole, a collector of witcher gear.
- Keep talking to her until she offers to trade, then buy the Legendary Viper Armor diagram.
- Buy it before sitting down for the auction. The auction ends with a forced exit from the auction house.
