Scavenger Hunt: Cat School Gear is a treasure hunt in Novigrad. It leads to the diagrams for the Feline gear, worn by the witchers of the School of the Cat. The hunt starts when Geralt finds any Feline diagram. The trail follows Kiyan, a witcher born under a very unlucky star. It runs from the passages under Temple Isle to a shipwreck, an old ruin and a ruined castle.

- Find any Feline diagram to start the hunt.
- Travel to Temple Isle in Novigrad.
- Explore the passages under Temple Isle.
- Defeat Mad Kiyan.
- Loot his body for the armor, boots, gauntlets and trousers diagrams.
- Read the laboratory log.
- Sail to the wreck of the Flying Stag, southwest of the Lighthouse.
- Search the wreck for the crossbow diagram.
- Read the mage's notes.
- Travel to the ruins of Est Tayiar.
- Break open the weakened wall.
- Take the silver sword diagram from behind the wall.
- Read Professor Gloger's note.
- Travel to the ruins of Drahim Castle.
- Climb down to the castle basement.
- Take the steel sword diagram from the basement.
- Read Prince Adrien's journal.
