Feline Silver Sword is the Basic tier of the Feline (Cat School) silver sword, witcher gear from the base game. It deals 256-312 damage at level 17 and gives +12% Aard sign intensity. Its diagram is behind a weakened wall at Est Tayiar in the Gustfields. It is a mid-game blade from near Oxenfurt.
It also has a 5% chance to cause bleeding and gives +20% bonus experience from monsters, with 1 rune slot. The bleeding chance adds damage over time to its hits.
As a Feline piece it belongs to a set whose bonuses reward fast attacks and rear attacks.
Set Bonus
The Feline set is light armor. It has five tiers: Basic at level 17, Enhanced at 23, Superior at 29, Mastercrafted at 34 and Grandmaster at 40. The 3-piece and 6-piece bonuses come from Grandmaster pieces worn as a school set. 3 pieces: a strong attack raises fast attack damage by 10% per set piece worn, for 5 seconds. 6 pieces: rear attacks deal 50% more damage and stun the target, at a cost of 1 adrenaline point.
How to Get Feline Silver Sword
- Start Scavenger Hunt: Cat School Gear. The hunt's first and second maps come from Adalbert Kermith in Blackbough. The diagram can also be collected without the quest.
- Go to Est Tayiar in the Gustfields and find the diagram behind a weakened wall, with Professor Sigismund Gloger's notes.
- A journeyman blacksmith crafts the sword.

The pin marks the ruins of Est Tayiar in Gustfields, Novigrad. The Feline Silver Sword diagram lies on a skeleton behind a weakened wall at the bottom of the ruins, with Professor Sigismund Gloger's notes. It turns up during Scavenger Hunt: Cat School Gear.
- Start Scavenger Hunt: Cat School Gear by finding any of its diagrams or Julia Kenyon's diary, or by buying one of Adalbert Kermith's maps in Blackbough, Crow's Perch or Lindenvale.
- Travel to the ruins of Est Tayiar.
- Drop carefully through the hole to the bottom of the ruins.
- Blast the weakened wall on one side with Aard.
- Loot the skeleton behind it for the silver sword diagram and Professor Sigismund Gloger's notes.

Notes
In NG+ the diagram makes Legendary Feline Silver Sword instead. It needs level 17 plus the NG+ starting level and deals 265-323 damage at level 18, with +20% Aard sign intensity, +10% crit chance, a 15% bleeding chance, a 10% chance to dismember and 3 rune slots.
