Feline Gauntlets are the basic tier of the Feline (Cat School) gauntlets, light witcher armor from the base game. They give 39 armor at level 17, with +5% attack power. The diagram is on Mad Kiyan's body in the laboratory under Temple Isle in Novigrad. These gauntlets belong to the mid game.

They also give +1% piercing, +1% slashing, +1% monster and +5% elemental resistance. The attack power suits a fast attacks sword build. They are the first step of the Feline upgrade chain, which ends at the Grandmaster tier.

Set Bonus

The Feline set is light armor. It has five tiers: Basic at level 17, Enhanced at 23, Superior at 29, Mastercrafted at 34 and Grandmaster at 40. 3 pieces: a strong attack raises fast attack damage by 10% per set piece worn, for 5 seconds. 6 pieces: rear attacks deal 50% more damage and stun the target, at a cost of 1 adrenaline point. These bonuses come from Grandmaster pieces worn as a set.

How to Get Feline Gauntlets

Start Scavenger Hunt: Cat School Gear in Novigrad.
Reach the laboratory under Temple Isle through the hidden cave revealed with the Eye of Nehaleni.
Take the diagram from Mad Kiyan's body, with the other armor diagrams, Moonblade and a laboratory notebook.
A journeyman armorer crafts them.

Feline Gauntlets Map Location and Quest Guide

The Feline Gauntlets diagram is on Mad Kiyan, a witcher found in the laboratory under Temple Isle in Novigrad. The pin marks the hidden cave that leads there, the armor stop of Scavenger Hunt: Cat School Gear. Kiyan also carries the armor, boots and trousers diagrams.

Buy one of Adalbert Kermith's maps to start Scavenger Hunt: Cat School Gear. The first and second are sold in Blackbough, the third at Crow's Perch and the fourth in Lindenvale.
Go to the westernmost house on Temple Isle and drop from the rock ledge on its west side to the grassy path below.
Follow the path to its end and use the Eye of Nehaleni to reveal the cave entrance.
Kill the golem that guards the main chamber.
Take the tunnel opposite the entrance to the room with the statues. Pull the levers until every statue faces the center of the room.
Kill the three drowners in the pool that opens, then dive to the bottom for the laboratory key.
Return to the main chamber and open the locked door with the key.
Defeat Mad Kiyan at the far end. He uses Signs such as Quen.
Loot his body for the Feline Gauntlets diagram.

In NG+ the diagram makes Legendary Feline Gauntlets. They give 41 armor at level 18, with +11% attack power.
