Superior Feline Armor is the Superior tier of the Feline (Cat School) chest armor, light witcher gear from the base game. It gives 180 armor and +15% attack power at level 29. Its diagram is at an unmarked ruin southwest of Dragonslayer's Grotto in Velen. It is mid-game armor.
It also gives +8% piercing, +11% slashing, +10% monster and +25% elemental resistance. The set bonuses boost fast attacks and rear attacks. Together with the attack power, they suit a fast attacks sword build.
Against Enhanced Feline Armor, it raises armor from 150 to 180 and attack power from 10% to 15%.
Set Bonus
The Feline set is light armor. It has five tiers: Basic at level 17, Enhanced at 23, Superior at 29, Mastercrafted at 34 and Grandmaster at 40. The 3-piece and 6-piece bonuses come from Grandmaster pieces worn as a school set. 3 pieces: a strong attack raises fast attack damage by 10% per set piece worn, for 5 seconds. 6 pieces: rear attacks deal 50% more damage and stun the target, at a cost of 1 adrenaline point.
How to Get Superior Feline Armor
- Start Scavenger Hunt: Cat School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 3. The diagram can also be collected without the quest.
- Go to the unmarked ruin southwest of Dragonslayer's Grotto. An earth elemental guards the chest that holds the armor, gauntlets, trousers and boots diagrams.
- A journeyman armorer crafts it from Enhanced Feline Armor.

- Buy Adalbert Kermith's third map from the quartermaster at Crow's Perch to start Scavenger Hunt: Cat School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 3.
- Go to the unmarked ruin southwest of Dragonslayer's Grotto.
- Kill the earth elemental that guards the ruin.
- Find the chest in the largest part of the ruin, between three walls.
- Loot the chest for the Superior Feline Armor diagram.

Notes
In NG+ the diagram makes Superior Legendary Feline Armor instead. It needs level 29 plus the NG+ starting level and gives 185 armor at level 30 (+5 per level), with +27% attack power and +37% elemental resistance.
