Journeyman armorer

Superior Feline Gauntlets are the Superior tier of the Feline (Cat School) gauntlets, light witcher armor from the base game. They give 63 armor at level 29, with +8% attack power. The diagram is at an unmarked ruin southwest of Dragonslayer's Grotto in Velen. They come in the middle of the game.

They also give +3% piercing, +3% slashing, +2% monster and +5% elemental resistance. The attack power suits a fast attacks sword build.

Set Bonus

The Feline set is light armor. It has five tiers: Basic at level 17, Enhanced at 23, Superior at 29, Mastercrafted at 34 and Grandmaster at 40. 3 pieces: a strong attack raises fast attack damage by 10% per set piece worn, for 5 seconds. 6 pieces: rear attacks deal 50% more damage and stun the target, at a cost of 1 adrenaline point. These bonuses come from Grandmaster pieces worn as a set.

How to Get Superior Feline Gauntlets

  • Follow Scavenger Hunt: Cat School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 3.
  • Go to the unmarked ruin southwest of Dragonslayer's Grotto in Velen and defeat the earth elemental.
  • Open the chest that holds all four armor diagrams.
  • A journeyman armorer crafts them from the Enhanced Feline Gauntlets.

Superior Feline Gauntlets Map Location and Quest Guide

The Superior Feline Gauntlets diagram sits in a chest at an unmarked ruin southwest of Dragonslayer's Grotto in Velen, guarded by an earth elemental. The pin marks the chest, which also holds the armor, boots and trousers diagrams of Scavenger Hunt: Cat School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 3.

  1. Buy Adalbert Kermith's third map from the quartermaster at Crow's Perch to start Scavenger Hunt: Cat School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 3.
  2. Go to the unmarked ruin southwest of Dragonslayer's Grotto.
  3. Kill the earth elemental that guards the ruin.
  4. Find the chest in the largest part of the ruin, between three walls.
  5. Loot the chest for the Superior Feline Gauntlets diagram.
