Superior Wolven Armor is the Superior tier of the Wolven (Wolf School) chest armor, a medium witcher gear item. It gives 180 armor and +15% adrenaline point gain at level 29. Its diagram is at Fort Grymmdjarr in Skellige. It is a mid-game chest piece.
It also gives +12% piercing, +12% bludgeoning, +18% slashing and +20% monster resistance. The adrenaline gain suits an adrenaline build, and the Wolven set bonuses turn adrenaline into extra bleeding stacks.
Set Bonus
The Wolven set is medium armor. It has five tiers: Basic at level 14, Enhanced at 21, Superior at 29, Mastercrafted at 34 and Grandmaster at 40. The 3-piece and 6-piece bonuses come from Grandmaster pieces worn as a school set. 3 pieces: each bleeding effect on an enemy raises sword damage by 1% per set piece worn. 6 pieces: each adrenaline point raises how many bleeding effects can stack on one enemy.
How to Get Superior Wolven Armor
- Start Scavenger Hunt: Wolf School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 3.
- Go to Fort Grymmdjarr, southwest of Fyresdal.
- Take the diagram from the walkway between two of the towers.
- A journeyman armorer crafts it from Enhanced Wolven Armor.
Superior Wolven Armor Map Location and Quest Guide
The Superior Wolven Armor diagram lies in a chest on the walkway between two towers of Fort Grymmdjarr, a ruin southwest of Fyresdal in Skellige, where harpies nest. The pin marks the diagram spot, a stop of Scavenger Hunt: Wolf School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 3.
- Buy the Damp, Moldy Notes by Hieronymus from the armorer at Kaer Trolde. They start Scavenger Hunt: Wolf School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 3 and mark every diagram spot.
- Go to Fort Grymmdjarr southwest of Fyresdal and kill the harpies.
- Stand at the archway facing in, then head right along the outside of the fort.
- Jump over the wooden barrier just before the first tower and follow the walkway left to its end.
- Loot the chest there for the Superior Wolven Armor diagram.

Notes
In NG+ the diagram makes Superior Legendary Wolven Armor instead. It needs level 29 plus the NG+ starting level, with a minimum of 54, and gives 305 armor at level 54 (+5 per level). Its adrenaline gain rises to +27%.
