Journeyman armorer

Thyssen Armor is a Relic medium chest armor from the base game, with a crafted variant and a looted variant. The crafted variant gives 180 armor at level 30. Both give +100% poison resistance and a 5% chance to deflect projectiles with Quen. The crafted variant is late-game armor, and the looted one drops from level 24.

Both variants also give +20% piercing, +20% bludgeoning and +35% slashing resistance. The looted variant gives 36-40 armor at level 1, plus 5 per level.

The Quen deflect chance suits a Quen tank.

How to Get Thyssen Armor

  • Relic (crafted): Buy the diagram from any armorer in Skellige or the merchant at the sawmill northeast of Rannvaig, or find it at a random diagram location. Have an armorer craft it.
  • Relic (looted): It drops as random loot after level 24.

Notes

In NG+ the crafted variant needs level 30 plus the NG+ starting level, and its armor rises by 5 per level.
