Viper Trousers are medium witcher trousers from Hearts of Stone. They give 89 armor at level 39. Their +30% resistance to poisoning is the highest of any trousers. Their diagram is bought during the main quest Open Sesame!. They come late in the game, in Oxenfurt.
Their other bonuses are defensive too: +10% piercing, +10% slashing, +8% monster and +10% elemental resistance. Medium armor balances protection and stamina regeneration.

How to Get Viper Trousers
- During Open Sesame!, buy the diagram from Countess Mignole at the Borsodi Brothers' Auction House in Oxenfurt. She sells it with the armor, boots and gauntlets diagrams.
- An armorer crafts the trousers.
Viper Trousers Map Location and Quest Guide
Countess Mignole sells the Viper Trousers diagram at the Borsodi Brothers' Auction House in Oxenfurt, during the Hearts of Stone main quest Open Sesame!. The pin marks the auction house. She sells all four Viper Armor diagrams, and this visit is the only chance to buy them.
- Go to the Borsodi auction house in Oxenfurt and ask for the owner.
- Go to the upper floor of the auction house.
- Meet Vivaldi's friends on the upper floor. The auction starts once all three are met, or on sitting down to wait.
- Talk to Countess Mignole, one of Vivaldi's friends, until she offers to trade.
- Buy the Viper Trousers diagram from her.

Notes
- Open Sesame! is the only chance to buy the Viper Armor diagrams, so buy them before the quest ends.
- In NG+ the diagram makes Legendary Viper Trousers instead. They need level 39 plus the NG+ starting level and give 91 armor at level 40. Their bonuses stay the same.
