Choices
In the woods, Margrit, Hanna's sister, offers Geralt 55 crowns to stop looking. She wants him to tell Niellen that his wife is dead. If Geralt agrees and lies to Niellen, the hunter pays 10 crowns more and the quest ends. Geralt can also take her money and keep searching.
The truth is grim. Niellen is a werewolf. Margrit loved him and knew his secret. She led Hanna into the woods to see him change, hoping she would leave him. The beast killed Hanna instead.
In the cave, Niellen wants to kill Margrit for what she did. Geralt can protect her and kill Niellen. He can also let Niellen take his revenge. Afterwards, Niellen asks Geralt to end his life.
