Wine is Sacred is a main quest of Blood and Wine. Geralt reports to Duchess Anna Henrietta that the Beast is a vampire who is being blackmailed. She agrees that he should first find whoever holds the vampire in thrall. The blackmailer seems to have a taste for Sangreal, a wine made only at the ducal vineyard of Castel Ravello. The trail leads from the wine cellar to a mysterious nobleman known only as the Cintrian.

- Report to the duchess at Beauclair Palace about the hunt for the Beast.
- Escort Anna Henrietta and Damien to Castel Ravello.
- Save the peasants from the panthers on the way.
- Talk to the steward of the vineyard.
- Search the wine cellar with Anna Henrietta and read the wine register.
- Find the barrels of the right Sangreal vintage upstairs.
- Knock on the barrels to see if they are full.
- Find a barrel tap and a tapping hammer downstairs.
- Tap the barrels for Anna Henrietta.
- Defeat the bandits in the ambush.
- Join Anna Henrietta at the guard post in the port district.
