Don't Stop Me Now hands V protection at the point a heavy gun has nearly run its stamina out. Below a third of the bar both the chance to reduce incoming damage and the size of that reduction go up. It sits in the heavy weapon branch of the Body tree. The build it fits is the one that keeps firing past the point most would stop.

Mitigation has two parts. The chance decides how often incoming damage is cut and the strength decides by how much, and this perk raises both at once.

The condition is the interesting part. Low stamina is normally the state a build wants out of, and here it is the state that makes V harder to kill. Combined with the rest of the branch, the bottom of the stamina bar becomes the place the build is strongest rather than weakest.

Character Builds

It suits the heavy weapon Body build that fires until the stamina bar is empty, which is what the whole branch rewards. A heavy machine gun drains the bar fastest and therefore triggers this perk most often.

Buy it after Die! Die! Die! at the Pro gate, and pair it with the healing branch below. Mitigation reduces the damage that does land and regeneration takes back what gets through, so the build spends the whole fight at low stamina without that being dangerous.

Shotguns, light machine guns and heavy machine guns are what it applies to, and all three drain stamina quickly, so the condition is met often.

Dorph-Head raises mitigation chance for a moment after a heal, and the two can overlap.
