Extended Warranty makes every cyberware effect last longer. Anything an implant switches on stays on for more time, which quietly improves a whole loadout at once. It sits in the cyberware branch of the Technical Ability tree. Builds that depend on timed implants rather than passive ones gain the most.
Effect
A great deal of cyberware works in windows. Sandevistan slows time for a few seconds, Blood Pump heals over a span, optical camo hides V for a count, and each of those windows is a timer.
Lengthening all of them means more slowed time, more invisibility and more healing from the same implants. Nothing new is unlocked, which is why the perk is easy to overlook and hard to regret.
How to Unlock Extended Warranty
It sits behind the Phenom gate of the Technical Ability tree and is bought from License To Chrome.
Perk Tree
Extended Warranty is bought from License To Chrome in the Technical Ability tree.
| Name | Image | Tier | Effect |
|---|---|---|---|
| License To Chrome | Phenom (15) | +10% to all cyberware stat modifiers. |
Character Builds
It suits a cyberware build that depends on timed implants rather than passive ones, which means a Sandevistan, Berserk, optical camo or Blood Pump in the loadout.
Buy it at the Phenom gate from License To Chrome, with Cyborg in the same visit. One lengthens the windows and the other shortens the gaps between them, which between them changes the rhythm of the whole build.
Notes
Cyborg shortens the cooldowns between those windows, so the two together change the rhythm of a cyberware build completely.
Operating system implants are where the longest and most important windows live.
